With the new MOSAIC regulations expected to come into effect in 2025, now is a great time to get up to speed on how Sport Pilot/Light-Sport Aircraft 2.0 could improve the way you fly!
As part of the 2024 Oshkosh program, EAA will be ramping up its MOSAIC engagement across the various AirVenture venues where the convention will be taking place.
Here's what you can look forward to throughout the course of the week as part of EAA’s MOSAIC outreach program:
- Increased awareness and experts to answer MOSAIC-related questions in the Member Center on Celebration Way.
- An EAA Town Hall on Tuesday, July 23 (time and venue to be confirmed).
- CFI and flight school forums in the Learn to Fly Center.
- Monday, July 22: A 20-year celebration of the Light-Sport Aircraft/Sport Pilot rule on Boeing Plaza with an aircraft corral staffed with volunteers to answer MOSAIC questions.
- Student and existing pilot forums in the Learn to Fly Center.
- Articles in the AirVenture Today daily newspaper highlighting how MOSAIC will affect flight training costs and time spent pursuing a Sport Pilot certificate.
If you are attending AirVenture this year, be sure to check out some of the above activities and find out more about how MOSAIC may benefit you!
